Turn it Up to Eleven!

Case modders are kind of bad-ass. The combine the skill of working with cutting-edge hardware with the ancient skill of working with your hands to build something new and interesting. One of the better known case modders is Jeffrey Stephenson. He decided that , was great – but wouldn’t be better if there was a version which wasn’t the size of a Peterbuilt?

So we have the Level Eleven. This tiny computer is made from cherry wood and aluminum. Inside you’ll find a fully functional Pico-ITX based system using a VIA Nano processor. It even includes an optical drive and is capable of 1080P. Don’t you wish your home theater computer looked like this? That’s a rhetorical question, by the way – maybe you could bribe the guy into building one for you, but officially he does not make anything for sale.

For more information on how this thing was built, check out the builder’s thread at [H]ard|OCP.
