The market for home theater computers is still a relatively young market which hasn’t hit the mainstream. That means that there is still room for small players to come out with very interesting products that can compete with larger, more established names. And so we have the Vidabox SLIMv3 vCase3. Yes, that’s the full name. They’re probably not large enough to hire a marketing consultant.
Besides the name, the vCase3 seems like one hell of a product. It is made of brushed aluminum, as all great cases are, and offers a surprising amount of room including space for three hard drives. The case also includes noise-reduction features such as foam lining on the case lid and quick-installation hardware for the hard drives and optical drive.
Interested? Go check out the Madshrimps review of the case for the full scoop and some cute pictures of a kid building her first PC. Also, the Madshrimps review has a coupon code on the last page offering $50 dollars offer the case if you buy it from the Vidabox store. That makes it $150, which is a good price for a high-quality HTPC case.
