We have another solid state drive deal, and today it is the OCZ Vertex 30GB drive. This is one that I have personal experience with because I use the 60GB version of this same drive in my own computer. It is an amazing drive that will result in a noticeable performance increase compared to a mechanical drive.
While 30GB isn’t much space, it is enough to install your operating system and most of your major programs like Microsoft Office, your web browser, and etc. These are the programs where the snappy feel of a solid state drive is most noticeable. This drive is also great for netbooks, which don’t typically need a lot of storage space.
