The Eee PC 1001P has become all the rage. It is the best inexpensive netbook we’ve seen yet and it comes from arguably the best netbook manufacturer on the planet today. It is, even more than the 1005HA, the core of netbooks boiled down to its basics. Keyboard, trackpad, low power processor, great battery life. That’s it.
If you just want a netbook just for portability this is all that you need. And , it is hard to argue with the value proposition of this kind of product. You can spend more on a cell phone if you want to, but I guarantee a cell phone won’t be as useful as this thing.
