The HP Mini 311 is still probably the best ION based netbook around. At 11.6 inches it is large enough to provide a very satisfactory keyboard experience but small enough to fit in just about any bag. The ION graphics are this netbook’s trump card, however, as they allow it to play back high definition videos smoothly.
Amazon.com has the for $378 right now with free shipping. That’s not a huge discount over the $400 dollar typical price, but HP seems to have kept a tight lid on the 311′s pricing so far and this is the first decent sale I’ve seen on it.
