Intel’s Ultra-Low Voltage Core i Processors Set for June

by Matthew Smith on May 24, 2010

Intel’s ultra-low voltage Core i processors have been greatly anticipated, and have been listed on Intel’s website for several months now. Yet they never did actually appear in products. Well, now we finally have a timeframe for release, and it is only next month – June.

According to a press release from Intel we will see designs using these processors from Acer, ASUS, Lenovo and MSI appearing in June. No price points have been specifically stated yet, but the press release says they will reach “a variety” of prices, so here is hoping with might finally see some replacements to the current ASUS UL30 and Acer Timeline products, which are getting a bit long in tooth with their Core 2 Duo ultra-low voltage processors.
